Creating the right mindset for any task, project, or goal is critical for a positive outcome. If the mind can’t see the outcome it is truly an uphill battle to complete the task at hand. All of the self help and positive thiking books deal with this area of human development. Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich” talks about “thoughts becoming things” and how the mind has to see the outcome before it happens. By triggering your subconscious one can trigger the mind to see the outcome desired therefore forcing the body to work for the goal. It is similar to a ball rolling down a mountain and picking up speed. Slower at first but the inertia feeds on itself moving faster. Getting the right mindset daily is key to getting the ball rolling in all aspects of your life.
I have begun a 90 day challenge to change some areas of my life that need improvement. I have always used the power of visualization to get the proper mindset to tackle my goals. Any easy way to begin the day is with an hour of power for yourself. It takes some practice but if you get in the habit it will work wonders for your mind set and body. Start your day with an hour devoted to personal growth by reading a self help or if religious some work that gets you motivated for the first twenty to thirty minutes. Then the next thirty minutes practice via prayer or just meditate on what your life would be like when your goals are completed. What kind of house you live in, car you are driving. The key is to see yourself doing it. This will get you in the proper mindset to tackle your daily goals that move you forward to your longer term plans. Positive thinking is one thing but the action from it produces the results. Don’t confuse the two. Just sitting around thinking happy thoughts does not put money in the bank. Remember See it, believe it, do it. Join me on the journey to a new empowered way of life and see the world open up around you.

Physical: 6′2 245 pounds 43 years old. Basically an out of shape ex-jock with a very bad right knee. I am going to take my weight to 215 pounds with 12 percent bodyfat. My family is very athletic and I am disgusted as to how I have let myself get to this weight and physical state. I know it is affecting my desire in other areas of life. In this area of my life I’m disgusted.
Economic: I am an internet marketer and investor. I live in a million dollar house and work from home which allows me to spend more time with my family and friends. Have I achieved working at home? Yes. Am I satisfied with my position economically? Absolutely not. Not even close. I work very hard just to keep the status quo. So do I have economic freedom no. In ninety days that will change. My per month income will improve by $30,000 per month. I will be recognized by my company as a top sales leader and people around me will be asking Tom “what have you been doing to achieve your success?” In this area of my life I am mad.
Spiritual: This area of my life seems to change like the Texas wind. I am going to take these ninety days to explore many of the various religious and positive/self help experts to gain mental and spiritual clarity. I want to know more about myself in this area.
So there is the game plan. Change change change. Oh and one last {thing|issue} I’m a huge procrastinator. That will be the {demon|mischievous sprite} sitting on my shoulder. So come along with me and watch or participate as well. Only good will come from this. Are you ready?

Learn to Have It All!
When looking at Greatness we do not necessarily see what drives the true leader. When a person becomes great or famous many not so famous people begin to talk about how the person became great and what makes them tick. This is particularly true for the celebrities among us. Not only do people who follow these famous individuals believe they know them but they believe they know what the person should say or do upon becoming famous. Is it not the individual himself who became great? And is it not he who should inspire others to become great? Mindset is again so important in the great individuals. The drive behind the mindset is so crucial within the great individuals. Everyone wants to know what goes on inside the mind of a champion, a great business leader, a famous politician. It is truly refreshing when you see a person do something that is not expected. In investing, the one that does not follow the pack usually profits handsomely. The business leader that takes his company down a new path to success or failure. The entrepreneur who sees the market where no one sees one. The athlete who never gives up his dream to play at a higher level.
I write this as the greatest basketball player ever goes into the Hall of Fame, Michael Jordan. It feels to me that an era for me is now gone and my childhood is now over, but I could not help but notice the greatness again in Air Jordan. He did not choose someone that everyone thought he would to introduce him at his ceremoney. He chose David Thompson, a player great in his own right, but as Michael put it “the one that inspired him.” He did not choose Dean Smith, his coach at North Carolina or Phil Jackson his coach with the Bulls. Ones that many thought he would. Those individuals assisted Michael and benefited from Michael they did not truly inspire Michael. “I built my talents on the shoulders of someone else’s talent,” Jordan wrote in his 1998 autobiography, “For the Love of the Game.” “I believe greatness is an evolutionary process that changes and evolves era to era. Without Julius Erving, David Thompson, Walter Davis, and Elgin Baylor, there would never have been a Michael Jordan. I evolved from them.”
As the Jordan Era is now closed we can only inspire to stand on the shoulders of giants ourselves in learning what makes each of us find our true greatness.

As parents, coaches, and business owners, we must develop and posses leadership qualities if we want our children, team members and business to succeed. You do not want the company going out of business in 8 months after you have worked so hard to build your business. Understand who is running the ship.

Working as a corporate executive for many years, I began to not get what I wanted from my job. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I had always earned nice money. Forums are areas on the net where differnt interests collect and discuss. When you join these forums, you can build relationships and begin to become an expert in the field. You support each other and build trust that can be very beneficial and profitable.
Create your own blog. This becomes your persoanl hub or if you are selling products a central place where all your maketing flows. Feed the socail marketing areas like Twitter and Facebook automatically with your content keeps your exposure up.This exposure builds followers who want good information. Again, more traffic more people will see your offer.

Starting the day
I wanted to write a quick note on what may ask me about how to organize my day. Now I don’t want to give you another colorful graph to prioritize your coffee break and go to the store time.
I have found the key to all the planning and programs and to do lists come to how you start your day. It is very simple. Start your day with a simple ritual that gets your mind revved and juiced and the other tasks fall into place. Lets think about it, get up angry and depressed or not excited and how difficult is it to have a fulfilling and productive day? Pretty hard to have an day filled with positive results.
This is the reason to all exercise physiologist recommend working out in the morning. It gets your metabolism and your brain firing on all cylinders. Well, that is one part of the ritual now we have to get the vision going. This is where you can use “self talk, incantations, affirmations” or what ever you would like to call them. Since this is being written during the opening of the new Harry Potter movie I will use incantations.
Before you begin your exercise routine I would start off with some deep breathing exercises to fill your body with power. This is the basis for all the Eastern philosophy. Now use use what ever you would like “I am filled with gratitude today.” I have all I need for success today.” Do this in your head and more importantly out loud! This will bring the subconscious into the mix. You don’t need to exercise for two hours just get your ritual off in the morning and I garantee you will have a more productive day.
